In recent months the national media has focused on the negative, even violent, behavior of players, coaches and parents involved in youth sports. In a proactive effort to counteract this trend of violence, AYSO is initiating a program called Kids Zone.
This is a 12 minute video in which AYSO volunteers describe the atmosphere they feel should prevail at our practices and games. It also features a TV news story about crowd violence and misbehavior at youth sporting events and the steps AYSO is taking to combat it. Finally, there is a scenario where a parent decides to intervene and persuade another adult to change his behavior.

Opening Day August 23,2008 We are now completing our registration process for the 2008 Soccer Season. We do have a limited number of openings available in some divisions. You may pre-register online at: eayso.org. THIS IS JUST PRE-REGISTRATION!!! Please call our soccer line at (626) 568-4779 to make arrangements for payment in person. You may also register by mailing two of the forms printed from eayso to our P.O. Box 903224, Palmdale CA. 93550. If this is the first time you child has registered with us, you must send a copy of their birth certificate also. The fee for one child is $120.00, two $230.00, three $310.00, four $400.00 and five or more $440.00. These fees are for single families at the same address. You may send the forms with appropriate payment and birth certificate, if needed, to Palmdale AYSO; P.O. Box 903224; Palmdale, CA; 93550. If your child played with us this last season at Palmdale AYSO, you may just send payment with names and birth dates of the children.
